The Triangle Sprint Triathlon has been a fixture in the NC triathlon scene for several decades. The Triangle Triathlon offers 3 separate events: the traditional Sprint Triathlon, the Mini Sprint Triathlon for novice triathletes and/or those new to open-water swimming and the Super-Mini for ages 7-10yr.

Since 2008, E3 Endurance has hosted multiple youth and junior triathlons to help youth and juniors learn the sport of triathlon in a safe, fun, spectator-friendly, "Olympic-style" format of racing where distances advance as they get older, so that they can improve to the highest levels in our sport.

The Huntersville Sprint Triathlon is a pool swim triathlon with speedy flat and moderately hilly bike and run segments designed for both beginners and veterans alike! HFFA is a fantastic facility with a large 50m pool. There is a separate warmup pool as well as indoor bathrooms for participants and spectators.

The Smiley Triathlon Festival - Kids for Kids Triathlon, make a great triathlon weekend. Last year between the two days we had about 700 total athletes. Both events sold out in 2024, and we expect to sell out yet again in 2025.

The High Point Triathlon is a great event for seasoned veterans and a chance for a first timer to get their feet wet. Come on out and join us for this great summer event! This short format race is the perfect midseason race, and Oak Hollow Marina is an exceptional venue for this race!!

This triathlon named the Pepsi/Ymca Triathlon would become the first and longest running triathlon on the east coast of the US with its start of 99 participants that September, 1979. Since, 2018, they have added a Youth Triathlon that has exploded in popularity and adds a great finale to the NC Junior Tri Series!
